הניצחון על השמש, "ספרים מעופפים" ופואטיקה של משחק באוונגרד הרוסי המוקדם

מרצה-אורחת: פרופ' נינה גוריאנובה, אוניברסיטת נורת'ווסטרן (ארה"ב)

פרופ' גוריאנובה, מחברת ועורכת ספרים על האוונגרד הרוסי ויועצת במוזיאון גוגנהיים לאמנות ובמוזיאון לאמנות מודרנית בניו-יורק, עוסקת בספרות ובאמנות של תנועותהאוונגרד ברוסיה ובאירופה, ומתמקדת בקשר שבין אסתטיקה לפוליטיקה. היא תרצה על ספרים פוטוריסטיים רוסיים שיצרו המשוררים ו' קרוצ'וניך, א' חלבניקוב וו' מיאקובסקי בשיתוף פעולה הדוק עם האמנים נ' גונצ'רובה, מ' לריונוב, א' רוזנובה וק'מלוויץ'. יש הרואים בדגם זה של שיתוף פעולה אב-טיפוס של ספרי-האמן או ספרי-החפצים, שנוצרו בתנועות האוונגרד המערבי כגון דאדא, סוריאליזם, ומאוחר יותר פלוקסוס.

Victory over the Sun, “Flying Books,” and the Poetics of Play in the Early Russian Avant-Garde

Special guest speaker: Professor Nina Gurianova, Northwestern University (USA)

Prof. Gurianova’s scholarship in the fields of literature and art history encompasses both Russian and European modernist and avant-garde movements, with a specific emphasis on the

interrelation of aesthetics and politics. She has authored and edited several books on the Russian avant-garde and served as exhibition consultant for the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and The Museum of Modern Art, New York. 

Prof. Gurianova will lecture on the Russian Futurist books created by poets V. Kruchenykh, A. Khlebnikov, and V. Mayakovsky in close collaboration with artists N. Goncharova, M. Larionov, O. Rozanova, and K. Malevich. The model developed by the Russian Futurists may be regarded as the prototype of a new modification of the artist’s book, or book-object, which found its parallels in Western avant-garde movements such as Dada and Surrealism and later in Fluxus.
